Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Premier Cru plots of the Côte des Blancs. Malolactic fermentation, Mise en cave June 21st 2013. Late disgorgement & low dosage. Our Brut is elegant, with a beautiful maturity of fruits and tension on the palate. Nose: aromas of baked apples and dry fruits leading to aromas of honey and almonds. Palate: nuances of white fruits, spices, candied fruits, honey and brioche are enhanced by a delicate mousse.

Frerejean
Champagne Frerejean Frères was founded by members of a long line of cannon-makers who supplied the French army when defending against the Prussians during the Napoleonic Wars. The founders began to make their Champagne for friends and family but once word started to spread, they decided to go into business in 2005. Today, the company produces roughly 100,000 bottles a year in about six styles, or cuvées (the exact number varies as some are limited productions that sell out).
