30% of reserve wines aged in barrels from the harvests of 2015 & 2016, resting at least 6 months after disgorgement, low dosage Brut. Nose: flattering with notes of candied red fruit, blackberries and blackcurrant. Pinot noir is expressive, it shows its density and minerality then gives away the spotlight to an assertive and silky Chardonnay. Palate: generous and delicious roundness. The aromas of red fruits beautifully intertwine with the toasted aromas of the Chardonnay.

Frerejean
Champagne Frerejean Frères was founded by members of a long line of cannon-makers who supplied the French army when defending against the Prussians during the Napoleonic Wars. The founders began to make their Champagne for friends and family but once word started to spread, they decided to go into business in 2005. Today, the company produces roughly 100,000 bottles a year in about six styles, or cuvées (the exact number varies as some are limited productions that sell out).
