Intense ruby red in colour. The nose displays a wide range of aroma, such as ripe red berries, sweet spices, tobacco and lightly candied fruits. On the palate it is firm with good amount of tannins/acid balance. The finishing are slightly abrasive now, but should soften with time under proper cellaring.

Grace Vineyard is located in Taigu country, 40km south of the provincial capital Tai Yuan, in Shanxi province. Lee Yean Yean
Lee Yean Yean is the chief winemaker at Grace Vineyards, Shanxi Province in north western China. Originally from Malaysia, he started off in 2000 working in wine retail and the restaurant business before coming to Grace in 2006 and beginning his career as a cellar hand, then assistant winemaker. Lee also had a few spells at Curly Flat and Brown Brothers wineries in Victoria, Australia.
