Tasting Note
This sake displays a special rich aroma and well-balanced body created by well-harmonized five flavors of sweetness, acidity, dryness, bitterness and astringency. Its been served to the imperial family for more than 100 years. A favourite of the Imperial Family, only made available to the public in 1970. This was used for the coronation of 4 Emperors. Souhana is one of the most versatile sake, fresh crisp and gentle when chilled, and deep, matured and settled flavours with a velvety texture when warmed.

Nihonsakari
Relatively young brewery from 19th century, recovered through damages from the war and earthquake, Nihon Sakari became one of the biggest breweries in Japan and also served its high quality sake to the royal family. Leading innovation in the way people consume sake by rebuilding a new perception for taste and health benefit, Nihon Sakari now promotes a “more tasteful and more beautiful” life with sake.
Nagatoshi Nakane
He has been working for Nihonsakari for more than 30 years and inherited his techniques from the Tanba Toji Master Brewers, which is one of the three most important Toji Master Brewers of Japan.
