Tasting Note
This sake was designed for the coronation of current Japanese Emperor Naruhito in 2019. Its striking bottle design and bold yet elegant taste is testament to the purpose of this brew. It is sometimes given out as gifts to the guests to the imperial palace. This is an upgrade to the beloved Souhana Junmai Ginjo who have been loved for more than 100 years. In the Edo period, the custom was for regulars to provide gift money called "Souhana" to staff during celebrations. This sake matches well with Tempura, Unagi, Beijing Duck and Sweet and Sour pork.

Nihonsakari
Relatively young brewery from 19th century, recovered through damages from the war and earthquake, Nihon Sakari became one of the biggest breweries in Japan and also served its high quality sake to the royal family. Leading innovation in the way people consume sake by rebuilding a new perception for taste and health benefit, Nihon Sakari now promotes a “more tasteful and more beautiful” life with sake.
Nagatoshi Nakane
He has been working for Nihonsakari for more than 30 years and inherited his techniques from the Tanba Toji Master Brewers, which is one of the three most important Toji Master Brewers of Japan.
