Tasting Note
Made with Godello grapes fermented in stainless steel, without lees or wood, which makes it a fresh cut wine with a marked Galician white character. Visually pale yellow, predominantly white fruit (green apple, pear lemon), freshly cut hay background and very subtle vegetable notes. The attack in the mouth is acidic, however it offers a more dense than expected passage.

Algueira
Algueira is a family-owned business that started in 1980 with Fernando and his wife, Ana. They started with just a few vineyards, a small winery and in 1998 created the brand ‘Algueira.’ The vineyards are in the mountains on the banks of the river Sil. We work on teracces built on slopes of up to 75 degrees of inclination and in over a 40 year period they have grown to become an award-winning intentional winery that has helped to put Ribera Sacra on the map in both the wine industry and the wine-tourist industry of Spain.
