Juliet Victor Vineyards is located in the village of Mád at the heart of Tokaj region, a region celebrated for its history of exquisite wine production that spans across five centuries. Surrounding the village of Mád, the first place in the world to register and document individual vineyards in 1737, the Juliet Victor vineyard portfolio is made up of over 30 ha of the highest quality and historically significant areas that allow it to produce outstanding and varied vintages
Tokaj is the world’s oldest classified wine region demarcated in the 1737 Royal Charter, predating Bordeaux and Port. Traditionally known for its botrytised sweet wines, Tokaji wines were a status symbol highly favoured by royal courts and aristocracy in the 18th and 19th century. In recent times, dry wine production has significantly increased with a focus on expressing Tokaj's diverse volcanic terroir and unique microclimate.
