Our take on the classic Barossa Shiraz, this wine has a inky purple colour with a deep red hue. Aromas of dark plum, coffee and black pepper. The palate is rich and voluptuous, with the classic blue fruits and smooth silky tannins. This wine has great capacity to age and will continue to soften and develop more secondary fruit characters. Drinking wonderfully now, but will cellar until 2032.

Whistler was founded by Sally & Martin Pfeiffer. Before starting Whistler, Martin oversaw the viticulture program for the iconic Penfolds brand and was fortunate enough to obtain cuttings from the famous Penfolds ‘Grange’ vineyards, which were the 1st plantings on the estate in 1994. Now, son Sam Pfeiffer, has taken ownership of the family business. With over 20 years in the wine industry, Sam has had his hand at everything from making wine all around the world to his particular expertise, selling it.
