Deep red colour in the glass. This is a classic Barossa blend of Shiraz (65%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (35%) with loads of dark fruit and dried herbs on the nose, with hints of dark peppermint chocolate. The palate is full of soft dark fruits and tight tannins which indicates that this wine has a long life ahead. Drinking wonderfully now, but will cellar until 2029.

Whistler was founded by Sally & Martin Pfeiffer. Before starting Whistler, Martin oversaw the viticulture program for the iconic Penfolds brand and was fortunate enough to obtain cuttings from the famous Penfolds ‘Grange’ vineyards, which were the 1st plantings on the estate in 1994. Now, son Sam Pfeiffer, has taken ownership of the family business. With over 20 years in the wine industry, Sam has had his hand at everything from making wine all around the world to his particular expertise, selling it.
