Traditionally non chill-filtered, not coloured and a 100% Highland vatted offering that includes Malts from Glen Garioch, Blair Athol, Dalmore and Glengoyne distilleries inspired by Robert Burns’ famous Scots poem “To a Mouse”. The result is overridingly sweet initially on the nose, then warming to floral, light barley & spicy honey’d tones. The palate opens in a spicy style –now fructiferous, mellow, sugary & raisin-fudge-y in style. The finish is subtle yet sweet –detect a soft cough drop camphor / oaky hint plus milky cereals & late meringue.
