Selección Suprema de Herradura is the finest expression of tequila there is. Made with 100% agave and time-honored techniques, it elevates the craft of tequila making to heights not found anywhere else. To achieve the perfect balance of cooked agave, rich vanilla, oak and dried fruit, Selección Suprema matures in American white oak barrels for an industry-leading 49 months. Extra aging creates a tequila of an extremely rich, dark amber color with cooked agave, spice and floral notes. Exceptionally smooth and complex, Selección Surprema has a lasting, subtly-sweet aftertaste. Born in 1870, Casa Herradura, located at Hacienda San Jose del Refugio, is the last tequila-producing Hacienda on the planet. Within its ancient walls, we craft and estate-bottle some of the finest tequilas anyone has ever tasted. It is here that we invented the first reposado and extra añejo, forever changing the world of tequila. And it is here, from the small town of Amatitàn in the heart of Mexico’s tequila region, that we continue to set the standard for what’s to come. With a history as rich as the country itself, Casa Herradura, located at Hacienda San Jose del Refugio – the last tequila-producing Hacienda on the planet – is nothing short of a national treasure.
