Botanicals (8): Sorgin, is made not from grain or potatoes but Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Gascony that might otherwise be distilled and aged into a brandy; to this is added a range of botanicals: Grapefruit Zest, Lemon, Violets, Gorse, Lime-zest and Redcurrant Buds, with Juniper, added as a distillate. Nose: Sorgin delicate and complex nose with aromatic herbs, fruitiness and sandalwood. Palate: The long, beautiful, and elegant aftertaste displays hints of broom flower and violet, perfectly balanced with the juniper. Finish: Elegant and long with an oily texture and a harmonious, persistent finish. Recommended mixer: On the rocks/Indian Tonic water Garnish: Orange or grapefruit zest

In late 2016, François Lurton decided to diversify his business by relaunching the distilling activity his great-grandfather, Léonce Récapet, had inherited in 1880. This Distilled Gin was designed to be a link between wine and spirits.
