Rigorous, earnest and with dense flavor, rich structure and healthy acidity. Part of the grapes comes from a higher elevation vineyard,Pian delle Viti, which was called Valle Sospesa or “Suspended Valley” in the Middle Ages. Its limestone-rich soil gives the wine a delicious mineral note. Its sparkle is Franciacorta in its purest expression. Vinification process: After almost 30 months on the lees, it`s aged 6 months in steel tanks and barrique, with second fermentation in bottle according to the Champenois Method

Barone Pizzini
Barone Pizzini was founded in 1870 and is one of the oldest wineries in Franciacorta. It was also the first winery in Franciacorta to adopt organic viticulture methods. The cellar, close to Iseo lake, was built in 2006 according to eco-friendly architectural standards, responding to the commitment to respect the environment and quality production. So that the richness and integrity of the fruit, obtained in the vineyard using organic viticulture methods, are maintained in the cellar.
