The Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes has a very detailed, refined bouquet with pure wild strawberry, red cherry, freshly tilled soil and leafy aromas - classic in terms of its bouquet. The palate is crisp and fresh, with fine tension. There is less weight here than its peers, but good focus and length, with a fine spicy touch on the finish. This is a fine showing from Chanson.

Domaine Chanson
One of the great historic producers of Burgundy, founded in 1750, Chanson today is one of only six producers in Burgundy still remaining from the 18th century and earlier. Chanson has been meticulously managed since 1999 to become one of Burgundy’s top estates. From 2009 they adopted organic and biodynamic practices.
Jean-Pierre Confuron
In charge of the winery for 15 years, Jean-Pierre Confuron has made considerable improvements. The vineyards are now ploughed, no longer fertilised, and from 2009 they adopted organic and biodynamic practices.
