This is a red wine with an intense purple-red colour and marked notes of fruit. On the nose, wild fruits and plum from Murcia stand out, accentuated by a floral note of violet. Silky on the palate, with a fresh and persistent finish with hints of blackberries
What does this wine tast like?
Montrubí
MontRubí estate is a family owned winery founded in 1984 in the tiny village of L'Avellá, 60 km south-west of Barcelona.
Their wines are mainly monovarietal using only indigenous grapes and focusing on quality wines, vegan and organic certified. They are also the pioneers of the grape Sumoll which was almost extinct.
In recent years MontRubí moved forward and announced the opening of a restaurant /event venue and a 5 stars boutique hotel "Casa Gran 1771".
