Giesen Estate, The Brother Pinot Noir

There is strength of character and determination about Giesen brothers who, despite the naysayers, made the bold leap to make wine in Marlborough in the 1980’s. Over the last 30 years they have laid deep roots in the region, developing their own vineyards and simply making wines that people want to drink and that, is all there is to it. Since 2009 Giesen Wines has made a significant investment in organics, which by 2017 has resulted in 11% of the company’s Marlborough vineyards being Certified Organic with BioGro New Zealand. Whilst 11% of their vineyards are certified organic, they are committed to organics philosophy and culture throughout their entire viticulture programme with all of our fruit being sustainably grown.
