As the years good and we are quite past the "Judgement of Paris in 1976" where California Cabernets join the discussion with classified Bordeaux, the delta between the New and Old Worlds are becoming closer and closer. The 2015 Rodney Strong Rockaway recalls some of the best wines from the Pauillac region of the Médoc. TASTING NOTES: This wine is powerful, yet well structured. Our story begins in 1959, when Rodney Strong envisioned Sonoma County as a special place for producing wine. A true pioneer in Sonoma County, Rodney Strong led the way for the future of Sonoma County winemaking. Rodney Strong Vineyards was the 13th winery bonded in the newly discovered Sonoma County wine industry.
