Opaque ruby color. Urgent aromas of fresh dark berries, cherry pit and candied licorice, along with a zesty mineral element that builds in the glass. Offers juicy black raspberry, bitter cherry and spicecake flavors show very good clarity and a touch of vanilla. The mineral-dominated and persistent finish repeats the cherry and licorice notes and is given grip by youthfully chewy tannins. (raised for 15 months in new and used French oak barriques)

Ardevol
Up until the late 1990s, Josep Ardèvol’s family were selling off their high-quality grapes to the Mas Martinet winery. In 2000, they decided to start up their own cellar and create their own range of wines. As the years progressed, they now produce around 35,000 bottles which are produced from 10 hectares of vineyards spread over three properties. Directly carved on the rock, the old family cellar is placed in the basement of one of the oldest and most picturesque country houses in the village.
