Barons de Rothschild

Champagne Barons de Rothschild is a Champagne house created in 2003 by three extensions of the Rothschild family. The house style is focused on Chardonnay-predominant cuvées produced from the some of the top crus in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The Champagne Barons de Rothschild headquarters were established in Reims in 2007. The house works in close collaboration with its growers, sourcing its Chardonnay grapes from Grands Cru and Premier Cru vineyards primarily in the Côte des Blancs, including Avize, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, while the Pinot Noir grapes come direct from Verzenay, Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay, and Ambonnay. The cuvées are produced from the blending of these wines after a minimum of four years of cellar aging.
