Sean is a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Certified Educator. His long aspiration of becoming Master of Wine led him to the elusive WSET Level 4 Diploma (DipWSET) and his repertoire of practice helped him become Master Sake Sommelier and Certified Whisky Ambassador.
Currently the Head of Education at the Beverage Clique, Sean’s past professional experience spanned different areas such as the role of Sommelier and Trainer at Singapore Airlines and the Head of Wine for Southeast Asia under the SARMENT Group.
Among other international qualifications, Sean is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and a Certified Specialist of Spirts (CSS) recognised by the Society of Wine Educators. He is also a French Wine Scholar (FWS) certified by the Wine Scholar Guild and Certified Sommelier (CS) recognised by the Court of Master Sommelier. He has been speaking at masterclasses and took part in high-profile events such as Wine Advocate’s (Rober Parker) Matter of Taste and FHA – ProWein Asia: WSET Sake Masterclass. Sean is also a Panel Judge at International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) and Associate Judge at International Wine Challenge (IWC).
