Benromach Peat Smoke

Benromach traces its roots back to pre-1960s Speyside and produces a whisky with hints of delicate smoke and a wonderful balance of flavours. Known for the high quality of its distillate, the distillery takes particular care in the production of its whisky. Indeed, Benromach’s three distillers carefully orchestrate every second of the distillation process and use only high-quality, 100% Scottish ingredients. Each cask is filled, weighed and stamped by hand, before being matured for a number of years in their traditional bonded warehouses. A vibrant illustration of tradition and modernity, Benromach is noted for its unique maturations and dynamic image. Benromach distillery was first established in Forres, Scotland in 1898. Our family, the Urquharts of Elgin, have always been passionate about whisky. Our ancestor John began laying down casks of single malt at different distilleries in 1915, when everyone else was blending their whiskies.
