Tasting Note
A unique infusion of juniper, muscat grape, herbs, and spices recalling the Asiago plateau in northern Veneto where the Poli family comes from. On the nose, it opens with an intense scent of juniper, made fresh and balmy by the mountain pine, the Cembra pine and the mint. On the palate, muscat grapes give a silky touch; everlasting ‘retro-nasal’ elegant sensations are given by cardamom and coriander.

Poli Distillerie started back in 1898 when door to door distilling of pomace – the used skins of pressed grapes - in a small still was carried out on a cart. Poli is now commissioned by the likes of prestigious wine producers such as Sassicaia to convert their pomace to high grade grappa. Gin Marconi is an Italian gin, artisanally distilled in small batches by Jacopo Poli with Crysopeia, his own vacuum bain-marie pot still: a unique method of distillation that enables to obtain intense scents, clean taste and a long-lasting aromatic persistence.
