Botanicals (7): The exceptional taste of Skin Gin relies on the choice of 7 botanicals. The unique Moroccan Mint, Citrus peels of Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Lime, Lemon, Juniper, and Vietnamese Coriander. These handpicked “botanicals” are individually distilled in a so-called “Anisateur” in an old copper still, in order to obtain as close to 100% of the essential oils they contain. Back in Germany, Martin contacted his master distiller, Arndt Wessel, who lived in the Altes Land near Hamburg and told him about his idea and his ideas, which he did not yet know whether they could even be implemented. In cooperation, after a few attempts and subsequent fine-tuning, the perfect recipe for Skin Gin was created. An indescribable feeling: sample number 21 had exactly the taste that Martin had imagined - mild, fruity, refreshing and above all: unique - that is Skin Gin. Skin gin is still produced today in the Altes Land, just off the Hamburg border. There the gin with a dominant mint note is bottled for gin fans all over the world in three classic and permanent bottle designs and in various limited editions.
