Rich and spiced, the aroma is reminiscent of a wintry punch. The palate shows sweetness and more spice, plus a hint of resin. Look for milk chocolate, hazelnut, brown sugar and dried dates flavors as well. These tones finish gently, elegantly and lightly spiced.
What does this wine tast like?
Maniban
Bottled at the Chateau by the Castarede family in the heart of Bas-Armagnac. The Chateau de Maniban, full of history and heritage dating to the 16th century, guarantees the origin of this Armagnac. The vineyard is planted with the four best grape varieties - Uni Blanc, Folle Blanc, Colombard and Baco 22A. The Armagnac has been distilled in situ by our alambic and then aged in wood barrels from our area, manufactured by local craftsmen according to tradition.
